You may need ad-hoc, occasional support, or you may be looking for something more regular.
By the hour – I charge £25 an hour for ad-hoc work. I track my time using Toggl and will round up or down to the nearest 15 minutes. The following retainer packages are also available for when you know that you will need a certain amount of hours each month. These packages guarantee my time for a set number of hours. I will let you know when you are nearing the end of reaching the end of contracted hours per month. More information regarding retainers is on my services page.
5 hours – £125 per month, 10 hours – £ 250 per month, 20 hours – £475 per month
Please note: Retainer packages are to be paid in full and upfront. this is so that I can block the time out and ensure it is dedicated to you. You may carry forward no more than 10% of your retainer to the following month. Payment terms are 14 days from the date of invoice.
All bookings are subject to receipt of a signed Agreement and Terms of Business.

By the project – often the easiest way is to set a fixed cost and whether this is an hourly rate or a set price, it is usual to decide upon this together.
Transcription Rates: My digital transcription rates start at £1.20 per audio minute and include full proofreading. Prices can vary and are based on the following factors: transcription style, required turnaround, number of speakers, audio quality, complexity of the dialogue (for example, medical/legal/technical terminology). I also offer copy typing services at £10 per 1000 words for printed text and £13 per 1000 for handwritten.
Event rates – These are agreed depending on the scope of the task, whether I am needed on site, if there is pre/post admin work, if it is a one-off or ongoing event and other factors such as the budget.
I usually work from my office, but will work from other locations by arrangement. Any mileage incurred will be charged at 45p per mile. Costs of stationery, telephone calls and postage etc will be charged at cost and clearly marked on your invoice.
